实验室由乐山师范学院和弘航集团有限公司共建，立足四川，支持西部，面向全国，瞄准国际研究前沿，以市场需求带动本实验室建设工作。

Established by Leshan Normal University and Honghang Group, the Key Laboratory of Sichuan Province for Bamboo Diseases and Pests Control and Resources Development is based on Sichuan Province, supporting western China and facing the whole nation. The Lab, aiming at the international research frontier, its construction will be promoted by market demands.  

 

采用基础理论研究和应用研究结合、知识产权积累和成果转化并重，积极探索国际化建设的新模式。

We adopt a combination of basic research and applied research and pay equal attention to accumulation of intellectual property and achievements transformation. And also the Lab is exploring new model of internationalization actively.

立足竹类病虫防控与资源开发研究领域，创建基础性、跨学科和开放式重点实验室，建设高起点、高标准和高目标的科技创新平台，塑造行业技术创新领军人物，培养有影响力的技术专家。

Based on the research filed of bamboo diseases and pests control and resources development, the lab , being a fundamental, interdisciplinary and open key laboratory, aims to build a platform of sci-tech innovation with higher starting point, higher standard and higher goals, to create leading figures of technological innovation and to nurture influential technical experts.

 

力争经过5年左右的建设，在实验室主要方向取得阶段性标志性成果，使我省竹类资源产业化利用研究的整体水平达到国内领先，部分领域达到国际先进或国家领先，同时为培养我省竹产业发展所急需的高科技人才提供良好的平台。

We are trying to achieve symbolic results in the major field of this lab after about five years, which will enable the overall level of research in industrialization of bamboo resources of Sichuan Province to reach the domestic leading level while part  research field can reach the international leading level. Meanwhile, we hope this lab can offer a good platform for high-tech urgently-needed talents who can help develop the bamboo industry of Sichuan Province.
